About Me
Leyla Ali was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. In 2017 she took a leap, relocating to the United States to follow her dreams, (and her wonderful husband). A Performing Arts graduate, she has tread the boards in various roles around the globe, including Japan, Singapore, Australia and the high seas. Her first U.S. tour was the stunning, ‘Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella’, followed by the first National tour of ’Tootsie’. In 2023, she had the pleasure of swinging 'A Christmas Carol' at McCarter Theatre Center, where she performed the role of 'Old Jo". Playing the role of 'Tanya' in 'Mamma Mia' was one of the highlights of her career, as was her recent appearance in The Muny's production of 'Evita'.
Leyla is extremely grateful to have continued success, allowing her to travel, perform and story-tell.
